Data that you give us:
When you sign up for the service, which is entirely voluntary, we may collect your username, name, and email address. Registration is voluntary, and does not affect the usability of the app.
Non-personal information collected automatically:
We may collect non-personal identification information from our users. This kind of information in mainly technical (such as the browser’s brand, the type of device, operating system …) and does not include personal details.
Microphone and Camera
Some functionality of this app requires access to your device’s microphone. If you do not wish the app to access your microphone, you may disable access through your device or browser’s permissions settings. The app does not require any access to your camera.
Web browser cookies:
We do not use any.
We do not sell, trade, or rent our users’ personal identification information to third parties. The only part of our users’ data we may share is the one related to technical information, and will not allow any party to access private data such as names.
We do not have any.
Data Security and Retention
Personal information is stored securely, and is not sold or transferred to any party. We retain your data as long as your user account is active or as needed. You may end this relationship by deleting your account. We will then delete all your personal data including backups within 30 days.
The GDPR regulation provides our users in the European Union new and important rights to control their own personal data. We comply with all of these new rights requirements. You have the right to access your personal data we store about you. You can send a request from the Privacy menu in the application or on your user profile page to obtain a copy of your data.
You also have the right to be forgotten. If you choose to delete your profile, we will delete all associated information and it will be like you never signed up in the first place (with the exceptions mentioned above, meaning that if we, for a legitimate reason, have the right to retain the data). The right to rectification simply means that you have the right to correct or update your information. You may do this by editing your personal details on your profile if your information changes or happens to be incorrect. Or you can contact us at email@example.com. Users from European Union member states also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data supervising authorities of their country.
